The first kanji means strong/fierce.

We read it ''retsu''.

The second kanji means effort.

We read it ''do''.

but we don't pronounce it ''retsudo'',

and we pronounce it like ''reddo(red)''.

When the kanji ''retsu''is followed by the other kanji ''ka''(fire),

we pronounce it ''rekka''(not retsuka).

When the kanji ''retsu''is followed by the other kanji ''fuu''(wind),

we pronounce it ''reppuu''(not retsufuu).

It's called SOKUON(geminate consonant),

and it's written as small ''tsu''.

At last, the third kanji means reason/ logic/ justice/ truth,

and we read it ''ri(ley)''

I chose these kanji cuz i thought these kanji will suit him(and the impressions of his name).

Hi, everyone!!! Today, i'll tell you how to write your name in Kanji characters . At first, there are a lot of Kanji which has same sounds of pronunciation. For example, these characters has same same sound ‘‘ mai ”, but it has different meaning like this, So, when you choose kanji for your name, it's important to know its meanings.
