Last week, much snow has fallen in Tokyo, japan,
and my favorite shoes below was very useful to take care not to fall :)
so i'll tell u the kanji about it.

What's japanese word ‘‘kawa’’ means?

There are japanese word ‘‘kawa’’, and it has two kanji characters.
Let's take a look,,,
The left one means skin, hide, pelt,
and the right one means leather.
A hide will be processed to make some leather.
We call that process ‘‘namesu’’.
In the picture, u can find a kanji for leather in the kanji for ‘‘namesu’’.
Anyway, we can find the kanji for leather to be a part of another kanji which is related to ‘‘leather’’.

Utsubo is tube-shaped case to contain allows.
Saya is a sheath.
